MIKE LOUNSBERRY
My background
My name is Mike Lounsberry I live in Sugartown with Pam, my wife of twenty years, and our four sons Daniel, Seth, Levi, and Micah. Sugartown is a small community east of DeRidder, La.
As early as I can remember, I have been involved in horticulture whether playing in my dad's nursery as a child, or mowing lawns, or installing landscape materials. I have taken twenty-one hours of horticulture related classes through McNeese State University and passed them with a 4.0 average. I have recently graduated from McNeese with a B.S. degree.
I have also successfully completed an additional two-year course in landscape design with a 4.0 average. The fact that I am also a journeyman electrician is helpful when installing landscape lighting.
My dad and I enjoy a very good working relationship. He has a creative “knack” for being able to visualize what is needed in a client's landscape and the practical expertise to know how to bring the job through to completion.
